Internet Australia Initiates the Creation of Parliamentary Friends of the Internet

On 8 September 2015, a group of cross-party member of the Australian Parliament came together as part of a new initiative to promote consideration of the Internet and technology in the country's law-making efforts. This group, named “Parliamentary Friends of the Internet” (PFI), was initiated by Internet Australia—a chapter of the Internet Society.
